Increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide is even more dangerous than thought:
If we do nothing climate change could destroy the accumulated beauty and meaning that the arts have so painstakingly created over millenia. Our grandchildren could inherit a cultural stone age. Thus, for humanity’s sake, those of us immersed in the arts must demand that ethical action be taken now to secure a safe climate for us, for our descendants, and for this tiny blue planet on which we all depend.
