Australian resident Jessica Wongso is on trial in Indonesia, accused of murdering friend Mirna Salihin by poising her with cyanide laced coffee. The court is not impressed with two expert witnesses testifying that cyanide poisoning was not the cause of death:

There have been chaotic scenes in Indonesia’s most prominent murder trial, after an expert witness criticised the forensic evidence at the heart of the prosecution case.

A judge in the controversial case also stated that the witness should not “make this court go back to zero” by questioning the cause of death…

[Forensic pathologist Dr Djaja Surya Atmada’s] evidence comes just days after an Australian forensic expert was deported from Indonesia after he gave similar evidence in the case…

At one point, one of the three judges hearing the case, Binsar Gultom, told the doctor he was not that interested in his forensic evidence.

Judge Gultom appeared to have made up his mind about the cause of death.

Yep, I’m never going to Indonesia, ever.
